AFTER MANY years we have listened to why many in leadership in the local business community say they cannot support business taxes or any other kind — because it’s bad for business.
Yet, they acknowledge that they need an educated workforce, and deep inside know that a city without a school system would be terrible for business.
So, I want to ask them what they are prepared to support — and actively campaign for — to save and strengthen our schools?
Our kids’ lives and our communities’ lifeline are at stake. Let’s hear from you, Chamber!
